The Brunswick Ironworks are currently involved in the extension of the Welsh Highland Railway from Caernarfon to Porthmadog. This is a very exciting project and the completed railway will link with the Ffestiniog Railway in Porthmadog, creating a line which will enable visitors to travel over 25 miles behind a steam train.

We have refurbished and repaired four of the original bridges along the route and building five new bridges to replace those that have been removed over the years.
Four of these bridges have now been installed and we are commencing work on the fifth bridge.
